The Earth Sciences and Science Education department offers students the opportunity to develop a broad understanding of the Earth as a dynamic interacting system of land, sea, atmosphere, and solar system and students in the Science Education program prepare to be secondary and middle school teachers in content area for all natural sciences, including biology, chemistry, earth sciences, physics and general sciences.
